UFT Mind emblem Remote viewing · OOBE · EEG-backed

The honest library of the mind.

UFT Mind studies self-induced altered states, remote viewing, out-of-body, the deep states behind them, with real EEG data, and documents what holds up and what doesn't. Built for the people who actually do this and the researchers who want to see the numbers. Not hype. Not proof for everyone. Just the record, told straight.

Measured, not claimed

The core claim here is physiological: a repeatable, self-induced state with EEG readings that don't match ordinary waking or sleep. Whether you believe the rest, the EEG is the record.

Honest by design

We publish what worked and what didn't. Every result says plainly it's one person's documented result, not a verdict for everyone.

Yours first

Local-first: your data stays on your own device. Nothing is shared to the archive unless you choose to send a specific session yourself.

Work in progress, subject to change as new data comes in.

About

What UFT Mind is

There's a decades-old tangle around self-induced altered states, different methods, done very differently, all argued about as if they were one thing. UFT Mind exists to separate them honestly and keep the record in one place: what was tried, how it was tested, and what actually held up.

Read my story, why this exists →

Two claims, kept apart

There's a physiological claim and a content claim, and they're not the same. The physiological one, reproducible EEG shifts that don't match normal waking or sleep - is what we lead with, because it stands on its own.

Honest about limits

The standing rule: this worked for us, and we don't have proof it works for everyone. Entries are one person's documented result unless there's real data behind a broader claim, and everything is revised as new data arrives, never quietly rewritten.

A note on safety

Some techniques involve audio stimulation. With a history of seizures/epilepsy, or of psychosis or dissociative conditions, take standard caution and talk to a professional first. Nothing here is medical advice.

Requesting the EEG data

The raw EEG data isn't published in the open, to protect contributor privacy and keep it from being quoted out of context. If you're a researcher, clinician, or serious reviewer, request access below with a short reason and who you are. Every request is reviewed by hand.

Prefer email? A routed address (e.g. research@uftmind.org) will be published here once the domain is live.

My Story

Why UFT Mind exists

I'm Tank. I'm not a scientist. No formal training, no lab, no credentials to point to. I've known about this stuff for years, just from watching videos online, and there was never much real information out there beyond the surface level. I always thought it would be cool if this was real and I could actually do it one day. That turned into an actual urge to just try it and see for myself instead of only wondering about it. I started with a Muse headband, the most accessible real EEG device out there, and I'm hoping to upgrade to something like the Neurosity Crown down the line. Somehow I ended up here, with more questions than answers, and about two months of real, dated sessions to show for it, as of writing this, and still counting.

Here's what I actually have: about two months of real, honest sessions, dated, logged the same day. Real EEG data from a Muse headband, checked against what I actually reported feeling. Hits and misses both left in. Nothing quietly dropped just because it made me look better.

Should be honest here too: details do get filled in a little when I sit down to actually write a session up, that's true of anyone remembering anything. But I've learned I've got a genuinely good memory for this, maybe better than average, and the important stuff, the gate zero call, the physical markers, the EEG itself, gets captured close enough to real time that it isn't relying on memory alone. And if I catch myself connecting something to another memory, or notice I might just be making a detail up to fill a gap instead of actually recalling it, I leave that part out rather than write it down like it was real. Better to have a gap in the record than a detail I can't actually stand behind.

Why I'm actually doing this

I'm not trying to prove remote viewing or out of body experience is real. That's not the claim. The real claim is smaller than that, and more honest: there's a real, physical, repeatable EEG signature behind whatever it is I'm doing, a state that doesn't match ordinary waking or ordinary sleep, and that's true whether or not anyone believes the content itself is real. EEG doesn't lie. Believe I can do this or don't, the data behind it is real either way.

There's a bigger reason too. A lot of the source material out there, old government programs, different practitioners, different eras, gets treated like it's all one thing. It's not. Structured protocol, freeform sessions, automatic writing, cold impressions, deep altered states: these are genuinely different channels, and they keep getting lumped together and compared like they're the same experiment. Some of that confusion goes all the way back to how the government itself handled this material. I've put real time into going through that side of it myself, the actual declassified documents and the people who were part of those programs, not to take any of it at face value, but to actually try to make heads or tails of what it might really be, and just as honestly, what it might not be. Untangling that mess honestly, with real separated data instead of vibes, is part of the actual point of this project.

And under both of those reasons: I want to understand this myself. Not just have an experience and move on. Build a real log of what's actually knowable about it. EEG, writing style, session patterns, whatever's actually checkable. We may never fully answer what this is. That's fine. That was never the bar. The bar is having a genuinely solid record of what we can understand, even if the biggest question never gets answered at all.

Why this stays honest even when it's inconvenient

Here's the clearest example of what "honest" actually means to me. For most of my first two months, a falling sensation right before something happened felt like a bad sign, like the attempt was failing, like I was just falling asleep. That's the ordinary, reasonable read anyone would have. It took a lot of repetition before the record showed the opposite: that exact sensation was the actual trigger, every time, no exceptions. I didn't throw out the old read and pretend I always knew better. It's logged both ways, what I used to think it meant, and what it turned out to actually mean, and why I was wrong the first time.

That's the standard going forward, not a one time correction. Whatever I believe today is today's best information, not settled fact. If something I'm confident about right now turns out, a few months from now, to be another version of the same mistake, I'll say so out loud, in the record, not quietly edit it away.

What happens if this goes nowhere

Even if UFT Mind never turns into anything more than it is right now, it's still data I get to keep and keep building with, myself. This isn't a bet I need to win to have made it worth doing. Two months of honest, checkable data (as of writing this) already has value on its own, whether this ever turns into something bigger or not.

What I actually want this to become

Right now, anyone trying to figure this stuff out spends hours digging through half finished forum threads, with no real record of what didn't work sitting next to what did. I want this to be the thing I wish existed when I started. One honest place, tested, documented, upfront about what's known and what isn't, including the stuff that didn't work. Not proof that any of this is real. Just the realest, most checkable record anyone's built of it yet.

This isn't my job, and it isn't my whole life. I do this in whatever free time I actually have, in between a normal life and a normal job. It's a real, serious pursuit. Just not the only thing going on.

Maybe the real end goal, further down the road than any of this, is a real community of like minded people all looking for the same answers, each moving at their own speed, none of us required to believe the same thing or move at the same pace to belong there.

Privacy Policy

Our approach

Privacy-first and local-first. Your session data lives on your own device by default and only reaches us when you explicitly choose to share a specific session.

What we collect

Only what's needed:

· Account, your email and a securely hashed password (we never store your password in readable form).
· Shared sessions (only if you opt in), the written description and EEG data for that session, plus your self-scoring.
· Inquiries, if you use a form (data-access request, course "notify me," or contact), the name, email, and message you provide.
· Voluntary recordings (only if you upload one), the file and any note.
· Basic technical data needed to run and secure the site.

What we don't do

We don't collect voice or video by default. We don't auto-upload your session data. We don't sell your personal information.

How we use it

To run your account, operate the research archive, respond to your requests, keep the Service secure, and conduct anonymized or aggregate research.

Anonymity and identity

You appear as "Viewer X" by default. Being named on a specific result is a separate, per-entry choice. Your research identity (Subject ID) is kept separate from your login (User ID) on purpose, so one never automatically exposes the other.

Sharing and data access

Shared sessions appear in the archive after review, anonymized. The raw EEG data behind them is not published openly. Members who contribute their own sessions may view the anonymized raw numbers on individual entries inside the Service (per-entry only, never a bulk download); wider access to the full dataset is granted only case by case to verified requesters, at our discretion, and we may suspend this access for misuse. Any recording you upload is visible only to admins/designated reviewers, never in the public archive.

Security

Passwords are hashed and salted; login/refresh tokens are stored only as hashes; the admin area is access-restricted and protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Third parties

We use service providers only as needed to run the Service (for example, hosting) and expect them to protect your data. We don't sell your data. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and your choices

You can delete your account at any time. Deleting it removes your login identity; however, anonymized research entries you chose to contribute may be kept as part of the research record (they aren't tied to your account). You can request removal of specific shared entries by contacting us.

Children

The Service is for adults (18+). We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this Policy; changes are posted here with a new effective date.
